Description
Exceptional Catalina 350 with Extensive Upgrades and Proven Cruising Capability
This Catalina 350 has been exceptionally well maintained and thoughtfully upgraded throughout her ownership. With a strong focus on reliability, safety, and cruising comfort, she is truly a turnkey vessel ready for coastal cruising, offshore passages, or extended liveaboard adventures.
The boat shows beautifully both inside and out, with meticulous cosmetic care and numerous system upgrades. Electronics, wiring harnesses, engine systems, and electrical components have been updated to improve performance and reduce maintenance concerns. An impressive inventory of spare parts for the engine, generator, and onboard systems adds peace of mind for extended cruising.
This boat is equipped with a performance keel that makes her fun to sail and keeps the boat rock-steady in a big seaway! Built to CE Category A offshore standards, the Catalina 350 incorporates several important safety features including a collision bulkhead, reinforced rudder construction, and Catalina's robust chainplate system integrated into the structural grid. Overall, the 350 delivers excellent sailing performance while maintaining the stability and confidence Catalina owners appreciate in challenging conditions.
The wide side decks, secure cockpit, and sturdy cockpit table create a comfortable environment underway, whether day sailing or making longer passages. A full cockpit enclosure further extends comfort and usability in a variety of weather conditions.
Climate control is handled by a Westerbeke 5kW generator and a recently replaced air conditioning system, providing year-round comfort whether at anchor, underway, or dockside.
When introduced, the Catalina 350 earned Cruising World's Sailboat of the Year award, and her thoughtful design continues to make her one of Catalina's most popular cruising models. Her generous 13-foot beam creates the interior volume of many 40-foot yachts while maintaining the ease of handling expected in a 35-foot vessel.
Under sail, the roller-furling headsail and mainsail, self-tailing winches, and cockpit-led sail controls make short-handed sailing simple and efficient. Catalina's signature wide side decks, tall lifelines, and inboard shrouds allow safe movement about the deck in virtually all conditions. Ground tackle is easily managed with a divided anchor locker, dual anchor rollers, and electric windlass.
Below deck, the spacious interior features 6'7" headroom, two large private cabins, a centerline forward berth, and a spacious salon that can accommodate additional overnight guests. The dual-access head includes a separate shower stall, while the large U-shaped galley provides excellent functionality for meal preparation onboard. Abundant storage throughout the vessel makes her equally well suited for weekend cruising, extended voyaging, or full-time liveaboard living.

Accommodations
The Catalina 350 offers one of the most spacious and practical interiors found in a cruising sailboat of this size. With a generous 13-foot beam and nearly 7 feet of headroom, she feels more like a 38-40 foot yacht while remaining easy for a couple to handle. Rich teak joinery throughout the cabin, including solid teak tables, companionway steps, trim, fiddles, and door frames, creates a warm and timeless feel.
The salon is exceptionally versatile and designed for both entertaining and extended cruising. UltraLeather upholstery provides comfort and durability throughout. To starboard, the settee serves as a comfortable berth and features a convertible game table arrangement. The large port-side dinette comfortably seats six and includes the factory dinette conversion system, allowing it to transform into a lounge area or additional double berth when needed. For added flexibility, the full-size dining table can be removed and stored vertically against the hull in the aft cabin, opening the salon and creating a more spacious living area with a smaller cocktail table in its place.
Adjacent to the salon, the navigation station is conveniently located aft to starboard, with the well-designed U-shaped galley opposite.
The forward owner's stateroom features a comfortable centerline queen berth, hanging lockers, drawer storage, and private access to the head compartment. The oversized head includes a separate shower stall and electric push-button marine toilet, a feature rarely found on vessels of this size.
The aft guest cabin is equally impressive, offering a large double berth, ample storage, hanging lockers, and convenient access to the engine and transmission. Both cabins are fitted with mattresses for overnight accommodations of additional family or guests.
Storage throughout the vessel is exceptional, making the Catalina 350 well suited for extended cruising or full-time liveaboard use. In addition to the numerous cabinets and lockers, storage is found beneath berths, settees, cabin sole panels, and throughout the bilge areas. Drawer units are equipped with slide hardware for easy access, while ventilated teak locker doors promote airflow and help keep the interior fresh and dry.
